Returning to Home Schools

CREDITS, ATTENDANCE AND GOOD BEHAVIOR ARE NEEDED IN ORDER TO RETURN TO HOME SCHOOLS

Credits Needed to Return to the Comprehensive/Home Schools 

Grade	End of 1st Semester	End of 2nd Semester
11th	NA	170 credits*
12th	200 credits**	NA

 

JUNIORS*

Juniors who earn 170 credits by the beginning of his/her Senior year are ELIGIBLE to return to his/her home school.  In order to return to the home school for the beginning of Senior year, students: 

1. MUST meet with the Counselor at the beginning of August to complete a Final Credit Check (see Registration/Orientation Calendar)
2. WILL NOT be returned to Home School if missing required courses.
3. Enroll at Home School with completed paperwork signed by Richland Counselor.

NO STUDENT CAN REGISTER AT HOME SCHOOLS PRIOR TO COMPLETING FINAL CREDIT CHECKS WITH RICHLAND COUNSELOR!

Please note that 170 credits are the MINIMUM credits required to return to the home school. 

Students will need to take and pass 6 classes as a senior in order to graduate.

SENIORS**

Seniors who earn 200 credits by the end of 2nd Quarter (1st Semester) are ELIGIBLE to return to his/her home schools.  In order to return to the home school for 2nd semester of his/her senior year, students must:

1. Complete their Academic Plan that states they are eligible to return 2nd semester
2. Complete a Final Credit Check with Counselor
3. Meet with Home School Counselor at Richland to register for classes
4. Complete an Enrollment Packet with Home Schools

Please note that 200 credits are the MINIMUM credits required to return to the home school. 

Students will need to take and pass 6 classes 2nd semester in order to graduate.
