 Orange County Educators Learn About the Classroom of the Future During ‘Day of Discovery’

Hosted by Discovery Education and Orange Unified School District, event will offer local educators new tactics and strategies for integrating educational technologies into classroom to engage students and improve achievement –

Orange, CA – August 9, 2016 --  On Saturday, September 24, teachers and administrators from the Orange County area will learn about the cutting edge of education technology at Discovery Education’s "Day of Discovery," hosted in partnership with Orange Unified School District. Discovery Education is the leading provider of digital content and professional development for K-12 classrooms and a division of Discovery Communications, whose networks include Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and Science Channel.

This no-cost, day-long professional learning event will provide participants not only creative new ideas and strategies for integrating digital resources into classroom instruction to support student achievement, but also valuable opportunities to network with their peers. Attendees will learn new skills they can immediately integrate into their professional practice to improve their use of technology in the classroom and support the success of each learner.

Keynotes and sessions will be presented by the Discovery Education team as well as members of the Discovery Education Community.  The event will also feature various opportunities for participants to network and connect in a relaxed environment designed to maximize sharing and learning.
