Third Annual Technology Festival Announced

ORANGE, CALIF. – January 27, 2016 – Orange Unified School District would like to invite District staff to attend the third annual OUSD Technology Festival. This year’s voluntary professional development training will take place at Orange High School on February 20, 2016.

The Technology Festival will once again host a student technology showcase, vendor showcase and concurrent teaching sessions. A number of OUSD teacher and student presentations demonstrating new and innovative uses of technology in the classroom will be featured, specifically regarding the creation of Personal Learning Experiences and technology-integrated instruction. Attendees will also have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with both current and upcoming classroom technology.

Thirty teachers in attendance will be selected to win an iPad Mini for classroom instructional use, including Airserver iPad mirroring software. Breakfast and lunch that will be provided as well, thanks to donations received to cover the cost of food.

Approximately 300 OUSD educators including teachers, administrators and District office personnel are expected to attend.
