Principal's Message

Linda Vista is one of thirty elementary schools in the Orange Unified School District.  Approximately 425 students were enrolled in grades K through 6 during the 2005-2006 school year.  The school was built in February 1972 on 8.5 acres of land located in a residential area just west of Orange Park Acres off Santiago Canyon Blvd.  Linda Vista operates on a ten-month, traditional calendar from late August or early September - June.

Linda Vista Elementary School is an outstanding school community.  The teachers and classified staff have a commitment to improve teaching and learning.  Teachers work very hard to provide a positive school climate combined with high expectations for students.  Also, Linda Vista is fortunate to have a supportive group of parents who participate in their child's education by volunteering in the classrooms and by getting involved in school-wide activities and events.  With the joint emphasis on the children of Linda Vista being aligned as it is between home and school, our students benefit.
